Product application
Hot-rolled products have excellent properties such as high strength, good toughness, easy processing and forming, and good weldability, so they are widely used in manufacturing industries such as steel, construction, machinery, boilers, and pressure vessels.
Application range:
(1) Processing into ordinary cold rolling after annealing;
(2) The galvanizing unit with annealing pretreatment device processes galvanizing;
(3) Panels that basically do not need to be processed.
Element Content Range (Max.) Remarks
Carbon (C) ≤0.20% Higher carbon content than Q195 to enhance strength and hardness.
Manganese (Mn) ≤1.50% Adjusted based on quality grades (e.g., Q275A/B/C/D, with increasing Mn content).
Silicon (Si) ≤0.35% Slightly higher than Q195 for improved deoxidation and strength.
Sulfur (S) ≤0.045% (Grade A) Stricter requirements for higher grades (e.g., Grade D: S≤0.035%, P≤0.035%).
Phosphorus (P) ≤0.045% (Grade A)
Notes:
Q275 is divided into A, B, C, D quality grades, with Grade D having the strictest control on sulfur and phosphorus, suitable for low-temperature environments.
Specific compositions should refer to steel mill technical agreements or GB/T 700 standards.

Tensile Strength (Rm) 410–540 MPa Significantly higher than Q195, suitable for medium-load structural components.
Elongation after Fracture (A) ≥24% (longitudinal specimen, thickness ≤16mm) Lower plasticity than Q195 but sufficient for general processing.
Additional Notes:
Low-Temperature Impact Performance (Grade D only): Impact energy ≥27J at -20°C (subject to agreement).
Mechanical properties are influenced by rolling processes and thickness; cold-rolled coils may exhibit slightly higher strength than hot-rolled ones.
Typically delivered in hot-rolled condition; annealed state requires separate agreement.
