Product application
Hot-rolled products have excellent properties such as high strength, good toughness, easy processing and forming, and good weldability, so they are widely used in manufacturing industries such as steel, construction, machinery, boilers, and pressure vessels.
Application range:
(1) Processing into ordinary cold rolling after annealing;
(2) The galvanizing unit with annealing pretreatment device processes galvanizing;
(3) Panels that basically do not need to be processed.
Element Content Range (Max.) Remarks
Carbon (C) ≤0.12% Low carbon content ensures good plasticity and weldability.
Manganese (Mn) ≤0.50% Related to quality grade; higher content may be allowed under certain standards.
Silicon (Si) ≤0.30% Typically kept low to improve cold-working performance.
Sulfur (S) ≤0.050% Controlled to reduce hot brittleness.
Phosphorus (P) ≤0.045% Controlled to prevent cold brittleness.
Note: Specific compositions may vary slightly depending on production standards and applications. Refer to GB/T 700 or mill technical agreements for details.

Elongation (A) ≥33% (longitudinal, thickness ≤16mm) High ductility for cold-forming processes (e.g., stamping, bending).
Note:
Mechanical properties depend on material thickness and heat treatment state. Differences may exist for thick plates or cold-rolled coils.
Typically delivered in hot-rolled condition. For other states (e.g., annealed), performance parameters must be specified separately.
