Product application
Hot-rolled products have excellent properties such as high strength, good toughness, easy processing and forming, and good weldability, so they are widely used in manufacturing industries such as steel, construction, machinery, boilers, and pressure vessels.
Application range:
(1) Processing into ordinary cold rolling after annealing;
(2) The galvanizing unit with annealing pretreatment device processes galvanizing;
(3) Panels that basically do not need to be processed.
Element Content Range (Max.) Remarks
Carbon (C) ≤0.12% Ultra-low carbon design ensures excellent stamping and forming performance.
Manganese (Mn) ≤0.60% Low manganese content avoids adverse effects on formability.
Phosphorus (P) ≤0.045% Strictly controlled to prevent cold brittleness.
Sulfur (S) ≤0.045% Controlled sulfur content reduces hot-rolling defects.
Aluminum (Al) ≥0.020% Typically produced as Al-killed steel to enhance deep-drawing performance.
Note:
DC01 is the lowest strength grade of cold-rolled steel under EN 10130, suitable for simple forming processes.
Composition may vary slightly depending on mill processes; actual test reports shall prevail.

Tensile Strength (Rm) 270–410 MPa Moderate strength for lightweight structural parts.
Elongation (A80) ≥28% (longitudinal, thickness ≤3mm) High elongation for stamping, bending, and plastic deformation.
Erichsen Cupping Value (IE) ≥6.5mm (thickness ≤1.5mm) Key indicator for deep-drawing performance (Erichsen test).
Supplementary Notes:
Anisotropy: DC01 typically requires low planar anisotropy (Δr value) to minimize wrinkling during stamping.
Surface Condition: Annealed (suitable for galvanizing or painting), common finishes include Bright or Matt.
Thickness Range: Cold-rolled coils generally range from 0.3–3.0mm in thickness, with widths up to 2000mm.
Stamped Parts: Household appliance shells (e.g., washing machine panels), automotive interior components, lamp housings.
Deep-Drawn Parts: Simple-shaped containers, boxes, covers.
Lightweight Structures: Office furniture, shelves, decorative materials.
